BillyGoat I hear strange rumors about King Raven. That the lead singer/guitarist once bit the head off of an armadillo (still wrapping my mind around that one). The passion is certainly felt in this promising debut by the young quartet. Worth adding to the playlist, without question! Favorite track: Desensitized.

ProgHog231 Three-song sludge-doom jam, mostly instrumental, except the first track which is more spoken than sung. Most interesting song for me is Desensitized, where the bass is high in the mix and carries the jam. Two horns up. Favorite track: Desensitized.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) King Raven take traditional heavy metal and doom injected with some sludgey psych and proceed to kick our asses from here to the gates of hell. Superb!!!!!! Favorite track: Desensitized.
